Σε μια επιχείρηση πριν από την αυγή, Πεζοναύτες και Ναύτες από την Κοινή Ομάδα Εργασίας Southern Spear, σε συντονισμό με το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικής Ασφάλειας, απογειώθηκαν από το USS Gerald R. Ford και συνέλαβαν το Motor/Tanker Olina στην Καραϊβική Θάλασσα χωρίς απρόοπτα. Συλλήψεις σαν κι αυτή υποστηρίζονται από την πλήρη ισχύ της Ομάδας Αμφίβιας Ετοιμότητας του Ναυτικού των ΗΠΑ, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των έτοιμων και θανατηφόρων πλατφορμών των USS Iwo Jima, USS San Antonio και USS Fort Lauderdale. Το απαγορευμένο πλοίο, M/T Sophia, επιχειρούσε σε διεθνή ύδατα και διεξήγαγε παράνομες δραστηριότητες στην Καραϊβική Θάλασσα. Η Ακτοφυλακή των ΗΠΑ συνοδεύει το M/T Sophia στις ΗΠΑ για τελική εξουδετέρωση.
