Оваква хапшења поткрепљена су пуном снагом Америчке амфибијске спремне групе, укључујући спремне и смртоносне платформе УСС Иво Џима, УСС Сан Антонио и УСС Форт Лодердејл. Операција Јужно копље Министарства рата је непоколебљива у својој мисији одбране наше домовине окончањем незаконитих активности и обнављањем безбедности на западној хемисфери."

WSJ: Америчка обалска стража укрцала се рано јутрос на пети танкер за нафту, према речима два америчка званичника. Танкер који је данас био мета био је „Олина", рекли су званичници и „Вангард", компанија за безбедност и праћење бродова.
